Privacy Policy
Last updated: 20 October 2026
AnyPlay is a video player that runs on your Mac. It is designed to collect as little as possible: there are no accounts, ads, analytics or tracking.
Your videos
Videos you play, and information about them, never leave your Mac. AnyPlay keeps a list of recently played files and your settings on your Mac only, and writes a technical playback log to your Mac's caches folder to help diagnose problems. You can delete these at any time.
License activation
When you activate a license key, and every few days afterwards to check it is still valid, AnyPlay sends the following to Lemon Squeezy, our payment and licensing provider:
- your license key;
- your Mac's model identifier (for example "Mac15,6"), so you can tell your activated Macs apart;
- your IP address, as with any internet connection.
AnyPlay does not send your name, your computer's name, or anything about your files.
Purchases
Purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the reseller (merchant of record). Lemon Squeezy collects your name, email address, billing country and payment details to complete the sale, send your receipt and license key, and meet tax obligations. We receive your name, email address and order details from Lemon Squeezy so we can provide support and manage your license. We never see your full card details. See Lemon Squeezy's privacy policy.
Support emails
If you email us, we use your message and email address only to reply to you.
Sharing
We don't sell or share your information, except with Lemon Squeezy as described above or where the law requires it.
Your choices
You can ask us to tell you what information we hold about you, or to delete it, by emailing pythond542@gmail.com. Deleting your purchase records may prevent us from restoring your license.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date above.
